Our Story
Sarah & Aaron Kwan
As a family-owned and operated preservation company, we have a passion for beautiful, long-lasting marriages that withstand the test of time, and we want your dress to do the same!
We are incredibly proud of the journey we've taken since operating & growing Idaho Gown Preservation in 2021. Over the course of three years, we poured our hearts into building strong, personal relationships with bridal shops, seamstresses, wedding planners and other wedding vendors throughout the Treasure Valley, and grew the business from preserving 3-4 gowns per month to 30+, and preserved gowns for nearly 1,000 brides during that time.
Since moving on from Idaho Gown Preservation, the businesses we worked with in the industry have consistently reached out and encouraged us to get back to preserving dresses again because we’re the only company they trust for preservation- so we’re back with renewed energy, developed industry knowledge and heightened passion for our clients! Perhaps more importantly, we’ve partnered with
local
suppliers to ensure that there’s even more than client satisfaction as a goal of our company, but the opportunity to give back to the community that has given so much to us.
With every gown preserved, we donate a percentage of the profits to
Faces of Hope, a local organization that provides services to individuals experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, stalking and human trafficking.
We say it all the time, but it never stops being true: preserving wedding gowns isn’t just our job; it’s a
privilege. There’s something
so special about meeting each bride, hearing the story of how she found "the dress," and reminiscing about the excitement of her wedding day. We know that a wedding gown is more than just fabric—it holds memories, emotions and a chapter of your love story. Being trusted to preserve those memories is what makes this feel like the
best job in the world!
